You are invited to attend our virtual Journal Club. We plan to present a practical and enjoyable critique of a research paper, accessible and relevant to all clinicians, however research focused you may be, or not.

No experience necessary.

We hope by sharing the experience members can develop their critical appraisal skills and a deeper understanding of how to interpret the research, produced in and for our specialist field.

Our relaxed and shared discussion will centre on the relevance and benefit of the research findings and how our patient interactions may be impacted as a result.

We will explore elements such as the aim of the research, ethics, recruitment, diagnostic inclusion and exclusion criteria, data collection and analysis and results.

We suggest reviewing the article before we meet and bring your thoughts on these aspects, along with the themes it discusses.

We will conclude with our view on how this research could impact practice.
