Lothian ME/CFS Service
Category: NHS Services
The NHS Lothian ME/CFS Service is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team made up of Specialist Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Applied Psychology staff who provide patient-centred advice and support to help manage the effects ME CFS can have on an individual’s life.
This includes offering support in the management of the activities of daily life including physical, cognitive, and emotional impacts of ME/CFS; and providing service users with the self-management tools they need to optimise their potential for management or recovery from this long-term condition. In addition, the service also sees patients with fatigue following a diagnosis of Long or Post Covid.
