We see patients over 18 from North Central London and from elsewhere in England, mainly from the South East.
Referrals are only accepted by e-referral from GPs or by tertiary referral by letter from authorised healthcare professionals.
Referrers must complete and attach a referral form.
We accept referrals for mild, moderate and severe ME/CFS.
We offer an outpatient-only service based on guided self-management, according to NICE guidelines (NG206). The aims of the service are to:
- Help patients understand their condition
- Enable them to develop helpful coping strategies to manage symptoms
- Reduce distress and disability
- Improve quality of life
We use a holistic approach, meaning that we look at broader aspects of health and illness than purely physical such as psychological, familial, social, spiritual aspects.
