The service provides NHS funded care for ME/CFS within North Yorkshire (excluding the Harrogate and Rural area).
The service works with adults of all levels of severity of ME/CFS.
Referrals are accepted from GPs within the contracted area.
The team includes a GP with Special Interest and occupational therapists. The service offers approaches based on addressing physiological dysregulation through initially stabilising and then building tolerance to daily life activity, through both group formats and individual therapy.
The service offers in -person clinic visits, video calls and telephone contact. Group programmes are all delivered remotely via videocall. Home visits are available for people who are severely affected within the specified geographical area.
